First batch · July 2026
Make doh, sell doh.
Bake. The rest is handled.
Stop guessing. Start pricing.
Most bakers pick a number and hope it covers the butter. You've seen the post — “how much for a dozen cookies?” — forty replies, forty answers, zero math. Selldoh does the math: real cost per item, down to the gram. So the price you charge is the price that pays you.
Made for microbakers — sourdough drops, custom cakes, pastry preorders, popups, jam makers. Anyone selling what they made themselves.
We're bakers too.
Selldoh started in our kitchen. We run Lolo's Backstube — a microbakery — and built this because nothing on the market fit how we work.
We were guessing at prices. Feeding the same label sheet through the printer four times. Eating a platform fee we'd never tack onto a customer's bill — steeper than we'd have liked.
So we built what we always wanted. Now it's yours.
— Ben & Lois, founders.
Small team, low overhead, low fees. Growing as you grow.
Your recipes write your labels.
Every order. Every batch. Printed with the right “made on” date, allergens in regulatory order, ingredients sorted by weight, and a net product weight that factors in baking evaporation. Your ingredients, your names — Selldoh helps fill in the data and creates the label from your recipe.
Know your cost. Name your price.
Once you can see what every batch actually costs, pricing becomes a decision, not a guess. Set your margin. Watch it hold across every drop, custom order, and popup. You don't hope you made money — you know it before the oven's warm.
Ingredients to the gram. Packaging to the cent. The same ingredient library that writes your labels feeds your costs — change a supplier and every product that uses it updates automatically. Set your price. See your margin live. Run a discount knowing it's still profitable.
The customer is king.
Your customers are the reason any of this works — they shouldn't get hit with surprise fees at checkout for choosing your storefront. That's why Selldoh's fee comes out of your transfer, never bolted onto their bill. No service fees, no surprise math — they pay exactly what's on the menu.
Our fee is 2% + $0.20 per order — or a flat $0.20 on Baker's Plan. Plus marketing SMS at $0.012 per text, billed at near-cost rather than bundled into the platform fee.
The longer they stay, the more you grow.
Subscribers are a baseline you can bake to — you know what's coming before you start the dough. Less waste. Fewer guesses. A steadier week.
Customers lock in a weekly or biweekly order, and their discount grows with every drop — Welcome on the first, Regular after seven, Loyal after twenty. (Plus a surprise waiting for the most loyal of all.)
Every tier is margin-aware, so each step stays profitable for you. Skip a drop, keep your tier. Life happens.
Switching from Hotplate? Their points become a welcome credit toward their first subscriber drop. No loyalty lost in the move.
Family eats at cost.
Tag a customer as family or friend. They pay just what it costs you to make — your ingredients and packaging. No profit to you, no fee to us. Just bread for the people who matter.
The payment processor's card fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) is folded into the price they pay — you're never out of pocket, and they don't see a tacked-on surcharge.
Cancellations don't cost you twice.
Sick kid. Broken oven. Supplier flaked. Cancel the drop. We refund our fee. Every time, no questions. You're already losing the sale — you shouldn't lose more on top.
The payment processor's card fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) isn't refunded on cancellations — out of our hands.
